Cultivando Confianza: new B2B trade routes for honey, coffee, and cacao producers

About the event

As part of the Comunidades Prósperas y Sostenibles (CPS) project, funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), the goal is to strengthen the sustainability and profitability of smallholder producer organizations in southern Mexico. As part of these efforts, this event will focus on creating connections and business opportunities for value chains in the forestry sector and community tourism.

Attendees will have the chance to take part in Coffee Cuppings led by Kahwen Café, where they can taste a selection of coffees and learn about the processes behind each product. There will also be Honey and Cacao Tastings, offering a sensory experience that highlights the unique flavors of these regions.

The event will include Networking and Testimonials sessions, encouraging the exchange of experiences among producers, buyers, and others interested in exploring collaborations. To close, there will be a Business Interest Registry, where participants can formalize their interest in future trade partnerships, driving real and lasting impact in the communities involved.
